Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) organization is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer for its Automated Inventory Management team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will analyze large, complex data streams across disparate systems to optimize sourcing, network flows, and inventory health. Working at the intersection of data engineering, statistics, and business strategy, you will build data models, manage scalable ETL pipelines, and create advanced analytics dashboards. You will partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and operations teams to spot system defects, deduce customer trends, and present data-driven insights to senior executives to accelerate long-term free cash flow growth.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional hands-on experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting massive, multi-layered datasets from enterprise data warehouses.
  • Advanced proficiency utilizing SQL to query large-scale databases, with direct operational experience in Amazon Redshift, Oracle SQL, or NoSQL ecosystems.
  • Solid scripting capabilities in Python to clean, process, and manipulate unstructured data streams for analytical modeling.
  • Hands-on experience working with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab to perform trend deduction, hypothesis testing, and pattern recognition.
  • Practical experience in structural data modeling, architecture layout, data mining, and configuring automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
  • Proven track record building interactive, advanced enterprise dashboards and reporting views using tools like Tableau, AWS QuickSight, or similar business intelligence suites.
